The heart of the Carrier Access solution is the FLEXengine™, a software-upgradeable architecture that is deployed in Carrier Access hardware and is OEM-able by partners for deployment in their hardware. As we move forward, Carrier Access continues on improvements in the FLEXengine™ as well as feature enhancements to the various solutions it provides from cell-site to network edge. As the wireless operators continue to increase capacity, and as their end-customers continue to demand more bandwidth and bandwidth-intensive devices and applications, the need at the network operators dramatically increases for Carrier Access solutions that deliver bandwidth improvements and associated cost savings.
